How Can Preservation Respond To The Need To Mitigate And Adapt To Climate Change Impacts?

I've been asked to facilitate a Town Hall along with colleague Jim Lindberg at the National Trust on the topic of Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation. Specifically, I want to hear from you, my colleagues, working in the field of adaptation and historic preservation. Your knowledge and involvement, your informed voices will contribute greatly to our shared effort of adapting historic communities to a future of climate change. Please help us share with other preservationists the urgent need to develop a National Impact Agenda on Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation. Take a few minutes from your day to record a thirty-second to two-minute video in response to the following question.

How can preservation respond to the need to mitigate and adapt to climate change impacts?

The deadline for submission is October 15th.

For recording and submitting the video, instructions follow.

  1. Record your response on video via iPhone, Android or computer.
